    All graduates of the SCALE programme are invited to SCALE Together – a series of free networking and learning events throughout the year

    SCALE Together is a free after-care programme for all alumni of the SCALE Summer School. Designed to extend your learning and provide a strong support network of contacts for you to discuss and grow with, it consists of events and meetings throughout the year – combining specialist learnings with relaxed opportunities to discuss key issues within your organisation.

    Bill Aulet

    Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship

    Bill Aulet is changing the way entrepreneurship is understood, taught and practiced around the world. Bill has over 25 years of experience in business success, first at IBM and then as a three-time entrepreneur. During the past seven years he has been responsible for leading the development of entrepreneurship education across MIT, where he has been recognized with numerous awards. His book, Disciplined Entrepreneurship, has become an award winning international best-seller due to its accessible and methodical approach to entrepreneurship. In April 2017, the companion book, the Disciplined Entrepreneurship Workbook, was released. Bill writes and speaks logically on how entrepreneurs are created and the importance of both education and ecosystems.

    Emilee Simmons


    Leeds University

    Dr Emilee L Simmons is the Director of Learning Enhancement, Director of the Academy of Innovation in Business Education, and Assistant Director of the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies at Leeds University Business School. Her professional background is in business development and consultancy, particularly working with social enterprises and the third sector. Her leadership roles in learning & teaching excellence interweave with her research interests and expertise in entrepreneurship education and active learning approaches. This has lead to many awards including the more recent Deans Award for Teaching Excellence and a University of Leeds Fellowship. Emilee currently co-leads intensive executive courses on Resilience in the Arts (national, £4million+ grant-funded), Scaling for Growth (various online, national & international) and Design Thinking (India, USA & UK).
